T@ste6 @ Swiss-Garden Residences Kuala Lumpur

Recently Swiss Garden Residences Kuala Lumpur has 2 whole newly renovated majestic suites at 33rd Floor of the building, for a cozy modern living! Imagine how high is it above the sea level, that you can have a magnificient view of KL city.

#1 Bukit Bintang Suite – 5 bedrooms with a private balcony
#2 Kuala Lumpur Suite - 4 bedrooms with a walk-in wardrobe

Designed with the finesse of contemporary interiors and spanning over 2300 sqft, both suites boast in stunning panoramic views of the bustling KL city. The 4 bedroom suites comes with spacious living room, 42’ TV with 16 channels including satellite and local channels, cosy dining area, AV room, a study area, fully equipped kitchen with contemporary design, bath tub and rain shower as well as complimentary full minibar and Wi-Fi.

Thanks to Swiss Garden, I get to explore the spacious suites. Here's the main living and dining hall with a comfortable home setting.

The well-equipped kitchen that satisfies your daily needs if you are to stay there.

The secondary living hall is as cozy as the main one, with the fluffy sofa and simple decorations.

Here's one of the bedrooms; They have around 4 - 6 bedrooms in each penthouse if I've not mistaken. Now you can gather a bunch of 10 people and enjoy the exquisite experience staying at the penthouse!

One of the washroom is built with a mirror facing the magnificient KL view. Imagine that you can enjoy the night scenery while bathing, what a perfect enjoyment in life!

When evening approaches, here's the view from the glassdoors around the penthouse. From here you can overlook the whole KL city and this eventually makes me think of LookOut Point

To enjoy such a stay in the penthouse, of course sacrifice of a sum of money is unavoidable.
The daily rate is approximately RM 8000++,
so... anyone wants to offer me a stay there? :P

Note: Kindly call 603-2141 3333 for reservation.

After exploring the penthouse, we then go down to the 6th Floor of the Swiss Garden Residences for dinner. Started since August 2011, this restaurant, T@ste6 or pronounced as Taste@6is the epitome of modern living at its finest!

Upon arrival, I'm entranced with the inviting surrounding of T@ste6. There I thought it must be an ideal dining place with a fashionable blend of design, elegance and a brand new holistic culinary journey overlooking the magnificent view of the city's skyline.

#1 Fish Tikka Skewers

First up, let me try the foodstuff from the charcoal grills. The fish is grilled to perfection and deboned which makes it much easier to eat.

#2 Fresh Tiger Prawns

#3 Fresh Squids

#4 Pakistani Chicken Kebab

#5 Roasted Rosemary Potatoes

Such herbal condiment indeed spices up the potato wedges and makes it full of flavours!

#6 Spaghetti Aglio Olio

#7 Buttered Mixed Vegetables

#8 German Potato Salad

I'm not really a huge fan of potatoes but this salad with homemade dressings really tantalizes my taste bud! Despite of the thick dressing, the skin of potato chunks remain crispy and the potato itself is not too soft. Chewy enough to keep me attracted with such simple food!

Not forgetting to mention that the assorted salad on the bar also includes Mesclun salad, Watercress, Tomatoes, Carrot, Capsicum, Onion, Greek Salad, Cous-cous Salad Salmon with Udon and Edamame Salad.

#9 An array of sauces, dressings and accompaniments at the salad bar
  • Spice up your food with the sauces: Harissa, Chermoulah, Chimichurri, Thai Sesame, Tartar, Cocktail, and Gremolata
  • Pick your own salad dressings from wide selections including Balsamic Vinaigrette, Spiced Orange Vinaigrette, Lemon Vinaigrette, Honey Mustard Dressing, and Raspberry Vinaigrette

#10 Mini Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese

The carrot cake itself is deep-fried with cheese before being topped with a slice of strawberry. Carrot and cheese; what a twist is this combination of dessert. Of course, there are other delicacies along the dessert bar including Mini Chocolate Brownies with Basil Cream and Mini Cheese Cake with Berry Compote for the sweet tooth's satisfaction!

#11 Caffeines

You can order any kind of coffee, latte, cappuccino or mocha based on your preference and the kitchen will freshly brew it for each customer.

Here I can slowly sip my cup of coffee while enjoying the beautifully renovated interior of the restaurant. The VIP room is available for large group dining, with a wide selection of wines.

Whether it's an outdoor celebration for custom-made parties and events, T@ste6 definitely gives you the quality, comfort and hospitality.

Note:
  • The Weekend BBQ is priced at RM 96 nett with BUY 1 FREE 1 Promo (only applies for adult rate). Per child is RM 24 Nett. Kids below 5 years old eats for FREE!
  • Availability: Weekends only from 6.30pm -11.00pm.
  • Call 03-2785 1189 for events reservation
  • Call 03 2785 1284 for T@ste6 Restaurant

Verdict:
1. The perfect setting for a nice treat during special occasions would definitely invite me for a revisit.
2. I don't mind adding a few more calories as the freshness of every grilled item is simply irresistible!
3. The meal is perfect as an escape within the hub of the city.

  13. 8K???? *faints...Never liked the location of this hotel - neither here nor there. As for the food, you've seen one, you've seen them all. Hotel buffets, more or less the same - ok if once in a blue moon but if eating for a day or two, one would be put off by the mere smell of it. I know - used to stay for days or weeks in hotels when I was working.
